What's the difference between Builder Gel and Gel-X?
Builder Gel adds structure over your natural nails. Gel-X uses full-cover soft-gel tips to add length. The choice depends on your nail condition, the length and design you want, and the maintenance that fits your plans. We will discuss the options for your nails before starting. Both full-set services start at $60 on our current menu; added tips for Builder Gel are listed separately.
How do I choose between Gel-X, Builder Gel, and dip?
Choose Gel-X when you want added length with full-cover soft-gel tips. Consider Builder Gel when you want structure over your natural nails, or dip powder for a powder-color service with or without added tips. Tell us about your nail condition, daily routine, existing product, and design goal so we can discuss the options and maintenance before you choose.
What if I have a gel sensitivity or product allergy?
Tell us before booking about any known sensitivity, allergy, or ingredient you avoid. We can review product labels with you and explain the service options available, but a salon cannot diagnose an allergy or promise that a product will not cause a reaction. A mild smell does not tell you whether a nail product is suitable for your skin. For medical guidance, contact your healthcare provider or dermatologist.
How much is a gel manicure or a full set in Tallahassee?

Prices start at the listed amount and vary with length and design. Paying with cash always gets you our best price on every service. How often should I rebook?
Ask your nail artist when to return for the product used on your nails, taking nail growth, length, condition, and daily use into account. A gel-polish refresh, a Builder Gel fill, and a new Gel-X set are different services. Rebooking before you leave can help you plan. If product lifts, chips, or becomes uncomfortable sooner, call the salon instead of waiting for your planned visit.
Can Builder Gel add length?
A little. It can add a small extension, but its real job is strength. If you want real length today, Gel-X is the better tool.
How is BIAB different from regular gel polish?
Gel polish adds color. BIAB adds structure: a thicker gel layer that supports thin or bendy nails, finished with color on top if you like.

What changes the price and time
Removal, repairs, extra length, special shapes, French tips, chrome, and detailed nail art can add price or time. Tell us about those needs when you reserve and show your inspiration photo before service. Ask us to confirm the expected total and timing before we begin, and request an updated estimate before approving a change.
Fill or new set?
Builder Gel is maintained with fills every two to four weeks, and at each fill only the grown-out gap near the base gets fresh product, so the nail underneath is never stripped back to bare. Read how BIAB differs from gel polish.
Removal
Removal depends on the product on your nails. Some gel products are designed to soak off; others require a different removal method. If you are unsure what was applied, tell your technician before removal begins. Read our product removal policy.
What if Builder Gel feels hot under the lamp?
Gel can release heat as it cures. Tell your nail artist right away if you feel uncomfortable heat, stinging or pain. You do not need to push through discomfort. Ask the artist to pause and assess the service; curing must follow the instructions for the product and lamp being used. If pain persists or you notice a blister or other skin change, contact a healthcare provider.
