Timing: book two to three days before date night

Book for February 11th or 12th rather than the morning of the 14th. Two or three days gives a new set time to settle: the edges soften into daily wear, cuticle oil does its quiet work, and if anything snags you still have room to come back before your plans. Gel polish on hands wears about 2 to 3 weeks, so a set done early in the week looks exactly as sharp on date night and keeps going long after the flowers are gone.
