Getting here from FAMU

Take South Adams Street or South Monroe Street north past the Capitol. At Tennessee Street turn east; Palace is a few blocks past Monroe with parking out front. If you are coming from the Bragg Memorial Stadium side, Wahnish Way north to Orange Avenue and then Adams Street is the simplest way to the same route. From Bond or Jake Gaither, Orange Avenue east to Adams Street and north. Travel times vary with traffic and the time of day.

Bragg Stadium and the neighborhoods south of campus

Florida A&M was founded in 1887 on the hill south of downtown, and Bragg Memorial Stadium on Wahnish Way is where homecoming lands each fall. Bond and Jake Gaither, to the south and southwest of campus, are neighborhoods with their own everyday life, with Jake Gaither Park and its golf course among the landmarks, and South Adams Street and Orange Avenue are their ways in and out. Homecoming week and graduation are the two weeks to reserve early; the rest of the year, this page is about routine care with prices that are clear before you sit down.

Homecoming, graduation and the sets that photograph well

Homecoming week comes with a lot to plan, so reserve custom art in advance and bring an inspiration photo; the appointment is routed to our nail art design specialist, and we confirm the design, estimated total and time before we begin. For length, choose between Apres Gel-X with full-cover soft-gel tips and an acrylic full set finished with gel polish or dip-powder color; tell us the shape and length you want when you book. For graduation photos, French tips, chrome and cat-eye finishes are all on the menu. Friends can come together: call with your guest count and each person's service, and groups of three or more do not require a deposit. Every dollar spent earns one point, and 300 points takes $10 off a future visit.

How do I get to Palace Nail Spa from FAMU?

Adams Street or Monroe Street north through downtown to East Tennessee Street, then east a few blocks. The map on this page shows current travel time from where you are, and parking is on site.

Can our group choose different nail services?

Yes. Each guest chooses their own service. Call (850) 727-8166 with your guest count, the date and each person's service; sitting together and finishing together depend on the artists and chairs available that day, and groups of three or more do not require a deposit.

How much is an acrylic full set?

An acrylic full set with regular polish and a set finished with gel polish or dip-powder color are both listed on our current menu, and extra length, French tips, special shapes, removal and custom art can change the price. We confirm the service choices and estimated total before starting.
