Areas We Serve
Nail Salon Near SouthWood, Tallahassee, FL
SouthWood, the planned community on the southeast side of Tallahassee, reaches Palace Nail Spa by three roads. Capital Circle SE to Apalachee Parkway, then Magnolia Drive north to Tennessee Street, brings you to Midtown. We are open until 7:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday and on Sunday afternoons, with our own parking lot.

Getting here from SouthWood
From SouthWood Town Center or the Capital Circle Office Complex, take Capital Circle SE north to Apalachee Parkway and turn west. At Magnolia Drive turn north and stay on it to Tennessee Street. Turn left and follow East Tennessee Street west; Palace is a short distance before North Monroe Street, with parking out front. From Blair Stone Road, Apalachee Parkway west and then Magnolia is the same idea. Travel times vary with traffic and the time of day.
A plantation name, a town center and the office complex
SouthWood takes its name from Southwood Plantation, the antebellum estate of George T. Ward, who arrived in Tallahassee in 1825; the modern community was planned on the plantation's former land with a town center, Central Park Lake, paved trails and its own community center. Florida State University Schools and John Paul II Catholic High School are inside it, and the Capital Circle Office Complex, where several state agencies keep their headquarters, sits along Capital Circle SE at its edge. The office day and the school day end within an hour of each other, and both leave room for an appointment before we close at 7:00 PM.
After the office, before the drive home
The state office buildings off Capital Circle SE let out at the same hour every day, and the end of a workday is when a manicure feels most earned. A gel manicure is planned for about 45 to 60 minutes, so a 5:30 PM reservation finishes before we close at 7:00 PM. Builder Gel is a good match for hands that type all day and want structure without length. On weekends, SouthWood families can pair a Classic or Palace Pedicure with a Princess manicure for a younger guest; a parent or caregiver accompanying a child is always welcome to stay. If you are choosing between gel and regular polish, decide before picking a color, since the color options can differ between the two.
