What Is a Luxury Pedicure? Inside the Diamond VIP

4 minute read

A luxury pedicure is not a classic pedicure with a fancier name. The difference is time, layers, and finish: roughly twice the minutes in the chair, treatment steps layered one on top of another, and closing touches that a 30 minute service simply cannot fit. Here is what that looks like in practice, using the most complete service on our menu, the Diamond VIP Luxury Pedicure.

The difference is measured in minutes

A Classic pedicure runs about 30 minutes: scrub, massage, one hot towel, polish, done well and done quickly. The Diamond VIP runs about 70 minutes. Those extra 40 minutes are not padding. They are where the layered treatments live, and they are why a luxury pedicure feels different for days afterward, not just on the drive home.

Layer one: hands and feet at the same time

The Diamond VIP opens with warm collagen gloves and a hand massage while your pedicure begins. Two treatments share one chair, which is why many guests book it when they cannot spare separate appointments but want to leave feeling completely put back together.

Layer two: the treatment stack

From there the service builds: rose petals in the basin, a steam treatment, a sugar scrub with a mask, and three hot towel wraps spaced through the service so the warmth keeps returning. Hot stones follow the scrub, and the massage closes with two signatures you will not find in a quick service: an orange slice massage and a warm oil candle massage. Each layer softens or smooths a little more than the one before it.

Layer three: the finish

Luxury shows in how a service ends. Collagen socks close the Diamond VIP so the softness is sealed in before your polish, and the last minutes are unhurried on purpose. The polish itself is your choice, and custom nail art can be added to any pedicure if you want the finish to make a statement.

Who the Diamond VIP is for

Guests book it for recovery days after a long week on their feet, for milestones and celebrations, and as a once-a-season reset between regular Palace Pedicures. If you are choosing between tiers, a fair rule: pick the Classic when you need clean and quick, the Palace Pedicure for your regular ritual, and the Diamond VIP when the point of the visit is the visit itself.

What it costs and how to book

The Diamond VIP Luxury Pedicure starts at $93 as a cash price, and paying cash skips the 3% card processing cost. Prices shown are cash starting prices; see the full menu for current pricing. We are open evenings and Sundays at Palace Nail Spa in Midtown Tallahassee, with on-site parking and walk-ins welcome, though for a 70 minute service, reserving your spot is the surest way to protect the time. If you are still deciding, our guide to whether luxury pedicures are worth it breaks down the value tier by tier.
