Nail Salon Near Chaires and Capitola, Tallahassee, FL
Chaires and Capitola sit east of Tallahassee along Mahan Drive, and Mahan Drive runs straight into Midtown as Tennessee Street. Palace Nail Spa is on East Tennessee Street a few blocks east of North Monroe Street, with on-site parking and evening hours until 7:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday.

Getting here from Chaires
From Chaires Cross Road or Capitola Road, take Mahan Drive west. You pass the Buck Lake Road area and Capital Circle NE; at Magnolia Drive the road becomes East Tennessee Street. Stay on it; Palace is a short distance before North Monroe Street, with parking out front. There are no turns to remember once you are on Mahan, which makes this one of the simplest drives into town from the east side. Travel times vary with traffic and the time of day.
Chaires Cross Road, Capitola and the Lloyd depot
Chaires was settled in the 1820s, during Florida's territorial years, by the Chaires brothers who came from Georgia, and it grew around the railroad station that opened in 1857 and the post office that followed in 1858; the historic district is on the National Register today. Daniel B. Chaires Community Park on Chaires Cross Road is the community's gathering place, Capitola lies a few miles east along Mahan Drive, and across the Jefferson County line, Lloyd's brick railroad depot of 1858, now a post office, is the oldest brick railroad station in Florida. Mahan Drive is US 90, and it runs straight into Midtown as Tennessee Street.
Make the trip to town count
When you live on acreage, a salon visit usually shares the day with other errands. Pair services so one trip does more: a gel manicure with the Palace Pedicure, or the Diamond VIP on its own when you want the full ritual, planned for about 70 minutes. Ask about Builder Gel if your natural nails take a beating outdoors; it adds structure without tips. Tell us about any existing product on your nails when you reserve, including work from another salon, so we set aside time for removal. Regular polish is included with every pedicure and gel polish is an add-on.
Coming from Miccosukee or Felkel
A visit from the village of Miccosukee or the Felkel area starts with a little planning. From Miccosukee, Miccosukee Road runs southwest into town; from Felkel, whichever road brings you to Mahan Drive, then follow it west. Choose the service you want and mention any removal before booking your appointment at our Midtown salon. If you are preparing for an occasion, bring an inspiration photo and point out the details you want to keep, and reserve custom nail art in advance so we can route your appointment to our nail art design specialist and allow enough time.
Questions from Chaires and Capitola
What is the simplest route from Chaires to Palace Nail Spa?
Mahan Drive west until it becomes Tennessee Street, then continue toward North Monroe Street. The map on this page shows current travel time from your own starting point, and parking is on site.
What if I am not sure whether to book a fill or a new set?
Call (850) 727-8166 and tell us what is on your nails, how long ago it was applied and how it is holding up. We assess the product and nail condition at the consultation before confirming the service plan; a fill of work applied at another salon depends on the product and is not always possible.
Do you remove product from another salon?
Yes. Tell us which product is on your nails when you reserve. Removal needs, the method and any separate charge depend on the product and nail condition, and we assess it before confirming the service plan. Work applied at another salon is not covered by our 1-Week Promise.

If gel polish, Gel-X, or Builder Gel applied at Palace lifts, chips, or peels within 7 days of your appointment, call us with your appointment date. Complimentary touch-ups are subject to availability and the exclusions in our 1-Week Promise. Read the full policy before requesting a repair.
